It is one of the oldest universities in Germany and many German celebrities have studied here since it opened in 1404. However, this university, which is already steeped in history, will continue to write history in the future. And with us! It is an honor for us the cooperation with the Uni Leipzig to announcen. Now it is no longer "just" the place where, among other things famous musical greatsn like Richard Wagner or Robert Schumann studiedn. No, jt is now also the home of Eye-Able. This means that accessibility is no longer a dream of the future! We are delighted, that that another university is joining us in our mission to make the world a little more inclusive.
The collaboration with us makes the Leip'scher Hochschule website more accessible not just to some people, but to everyone! All the functions that Eye Able offers are now available there. This includes the read-aloud function, which allows users to navigate through online texts individually. The intelligent font enlargement is also part of our offer, because we don't just emphasize inclusion, but simply make it as large as the respective user needs it to be, without damaging the original layout of the website. As if that wasn't enough, our tool generally offers over 25 different accessibility functions, which the university can now offer. Isn't that something? As we are a holistic provider of web accessibility, we also offer testing and training in accordance with current standards. In this way, websites managed by us can not only be more accessible but also remain accessible!
By the way: Anyone who would like to would like to visit is lucky. Dhe city and the local association for the disabled provide a city guide availableto facilitate a barrier-free stay in the city. It is available in three different versions. The "online city guide" contains all kinds of inclusionrelevant information on variousn buildingsn and facilities. The "building navigator" should with orientation within the cityt help. The destination is displayed on a map and additionally allall relevantn data on accessibility is also displayed. The last element here is the "building list". This can be used to find out the exact address of a facility, as well as information on its accessibility.
